What a Friend
By Matt Maher Matt Maher sings some great songs, this is yet another one—and for a Monday! After we pour out as we did this weekend it seems as if the enemy attacks even more fiercely. We certainly scored a direct hit in the spiritual realm yesterday, Praise Jesus. Jesus! The truth of this song is that Jesus wants to be our friend. He did everything possible from giving us His Holy Spirit to always being with us, especially when we’re in trouble. He even tells us when we’re wrong. That’s a friend. It’s absolutely amazing that His arms are open wide even when we mess up. I call that Love. That’s the Love of God. That’s the love all His Redeemed ones should have toward Him and toward one another. Real Love, God’s Love. Praise Jesus. Jesus! I’m still rejoicing in the Lord about the open hearted and open handed generosity you have toward the lost. The offerings for The Tent in January and our new Streaming Camera System yesterday are a statement of your hearts. I know: “The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.” Psalm 24:1. However, you gave the money as a good steward and He will give you more in return to be used for His Kingdom. That’s His way. That’s Faithfulness. Thank you. The Love Never Fails Puppet Theater will be performing “Oh, Happy Day!” at the Manor on Saturday. Please pray for this endeavor. Some of the folks at the Manor are cared for by family and friends but there are others who are just ‘warehoused’ who are lonely and broken-hearted. I doubt anyone living at the Manor ever really planned on living there—separated from family and friends. If they planned on living at the Manor it was a ‘just in case’ plan. We may be the only ‘family’ and ‘friends’ they see. So please pray and continue to watch His hand at work through your hands and heart. Praise Jesus. Jesus! BTW, if I had a ‘bucket list’ for foods I’d like to try before I pass into the next realm Red Velvet Cake would have been in my top three. Yummy, yummy, yummy. And the chicken was some of the tastiest I’ve eaten. I expect this meal was a real treat for our visitors just as it was for myself. Thanks! 🎶 🔥 🎶 🔥 🎶 🔥 🎶 What a friend we have in Jesus East to west my sins are gone I see grace on every horizon And forever and ever His heart is my home Forever and ever His heart is my home Praise Jesus. 🙌🏻 Jesus 🙌🏻 John love-never-fails.net “And even when I am old and gray...I will declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:18 Comments are closed.
